+ What products do you offer and what is your coverage?

Full Suite of HOA, Taxes, Lien searches, Code Violation and Vacant Property Registration.

+ What geographic localities do you exclude?

None. We offer national coverage including the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

HOAHelp.com can be used to order stand-alone orders. For bulk ordering, order submission should be completed via email through a simple referral spreadsheet provided to you. We use our proprietary system RInsight for our day-to-day operations. To receive updates, clients are provided with login credentials to our RI Online site.

+ What is the timeline that you require from a staff member to “place” an order? What is your process if the order is not placed within that timeline?

All orders submitted before 2 pm Eastern will be imported next business morning from order submission. Orders submitted after 2 pm Eastern would be imported within 36 hours.

+ Do you have the ability to “Rush” an Order for designated orders? If yes, what is the process? Is there a cost involved? What is the average turn-time on a Rush?

Yes, we accept RUSH orders. RUSH orders are defined as products needing completion within one business week of obtaining the order. Rush pricing can be provided upon request. The turn time for a rush order is dependent on the product being requested, and the cooperation of the entity that will be providing the information (i.e. HOA, management company, attorney).

+ What are your average turn times for HOA and Tax products?

This will depend by the region and vendor. Generally, from the point of identification to obtaining the estoppel or a tax certificate, it can take between 3-15 business days. (turn time can vary with association or management company response).

+ How is the product(s) delivered?

Customizable by the client's needs.

+ Can Precedent bill the estoppel/certificate as a pass through or does the client need to fund the cost prior to submitting the order?

Precedent can bill the cost as a pass-through upon completion of the order and provide the receipt for reimbursement.

+ Are you up to date on HOA laws?

Currently, Precedent has in place several methods to remain up to date on legislative changes and other information affecting the entire industry as well as HOAs specifically. Precedent conducts annual reviews of HOA statutory changes in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands, has quarterly training sessions with employees on systems, process changes, and evolving client directives. Additionally, Precedent is a proud member of CAI which allows for daily HOA/COA updates on rules and regulations. Furthermore, Precedent maintains active communication with its clients through frequent conference calls, reporting, and an annual in person or virtual conference to better understand client needs and gauge the demand to innovate new products and services to add greater value to our programs.

+ Are you up to date on VPR requirements?

Currently, Precedent has in place several methods to remain up to date on legislative changes and other information affecting the entire industry as well as VPR’s specifically. Precedent conducts annual reviews of VPR changes in all 50 states and their counties, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands, has annual training sessions with employees on systems, process changes, and evolving client directives.

+ Can the client view the file in “real” time?

Yes, Precedent developed its proprietary system which allows clients to have their own login and view data in real time.
